KEY POINTS & INTENDED USE

Sweetwater Guardian Plus with Viralstop - a basic but well researched and

reasonably priced answer to the virus issue based on tried and true Sodium

hypochlorite in a 3.5 % solution (similar strenght to that used in city water

systems). This is an incredibly sophisticated solution - but it is the one

that Health Canada and other governmental organisations recommend for

emergencies. Cascade's bleach formula is a bit more shelf stable than your

London Drugs variety but they both work just as well. Combining this solution

with the carbon filter in the Guardian reduces the problem of organic matter

creating THMs in conjunction with the Chlorine. I enquired about the potential

damage to flora and fauna in people's digestive systems but the information

(page down for more info)

from Cascade (and other sources) suggests that the mucus layer designed to

protect us against our internal acidity does well against Chlorine over the

short term use. In addition, the concentration of Chlorine in this product is

fairly low. The Sweetwater product has EPA approval.

EPA registration number is printed on the box as well as on the bottle

of Purifier Solution: #71326-2 as well as our EPA Est. number: #71326-WA-1.
