We're excited to announce the re-opening of MEC Kelowna to mark the store's 10th anniversary
Built for the Okanagan outdoor community, the updated space is designed to help you bike, hike, camp and paddle in BC’s favourite backyard.

Our iconic Gear Swap event series has found a permanent home at our Kelowna location. The MEC Gear Swap store is a dedicated space where Members can trade in used gear in exchange for credit, shop quality, secondhand gear for less and get minor gear repairs. It’s a full-service shopping experience committed to keeping good gear out of the landfill and in rotation for a second life of adventures. This new store brings that legacy into a permanent, in-person space.
You can find the MEC Gear Swap Store right beside our refreshed 16,453 sq. ft. MEC Kelowna store, in a dedicated 2,200 sq. ft. space with its own entrance.
What to expect:
