Frontiersman Bear Spray 225g with Belt Holster

Updated with a new more powerful formula. This active, non-lethal deterrent causes temporary eye tearing and respiratory distress, but no permanent damage to bears. The included holster lets you keep your bear spray close by. Prevention is your best strategy to prevent bear encounters (stay aware, make noise when hiking, store your food safely in camp), but having a deterrent is a good secondary plan.

• 0.36% stronger than previous version. New formula uses 1.2% capsaicin plus 1% related capsaicinoids, for a total heat equivalent of 2.2% total capsaicinoids (vs. 1.84%)
