MEC has recently become aware that Camp has issued a voluntary recall for the Nimbus Carabiner and Locker Quickdraw (which contains a Nimbus Carabiner) due to a fall risk.
If you have purchased a Nimbus Carabiner or Locker Quickdraw, Camp is asking you to immediately stop using it until you can verify if it is covered under their recall. Please visit Camp’s recall page to see affected batch numbers and instructions on how to return potentially affected carabiners and draws to Camp for inspection and possible replacement.
Only Camp is able to complete the required inspection. Other than confirming if your product is potentially affected according to its batch number, MEC stores will not be able perform the inspection in-store. Like all products MEC sells, your purchase remains covered by MEC’s Rocksolid Guarantee.
