MEC is announcing a voluntary recall for MEC Toaster Earflap Hats from purchase orders 693539 and 693540 that were bought between September 15, 2025 and November 24, 2025. Hats from these two purchase orders were sold in Neptune and Watermelon colours.
MEC is making this voluntary recall as small amounts of mould have been found on some hats. We have responded quickly and have removed these items from our stores and online. We are following Health Canada guidelines for this recall. Other MEC Toaster Earflap Hat purchase orders and colours were not affected by this issue.
If you have recently purchased an MEC Toaster Earflap Hat, MEC is asking that you check the white tag inside the hat (behind the size tag) for the purchase order (PO) number.
If the PO on your hat is either 693539 or 693540, you can return your product to MEC for a refund.
