Applies to purchases of Nomad Nutrition Caribbean Curry or Kathmandu Curry from MEC since April 2021. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Nomad Nutrition have announced a recall for certain batches of these products due to undeclared ingredients.
Products containing undeclared ingredients pose a health risk to those with food allergies. The Nomad Nutrition Caribbean Curry and the 56 g portion of the Kathmandu Curry contain undeclared split pea as well as mustard. The 112 g portion Kathmandu Curry contains undeclared mustard (for this product, the split pea is a listed ingredient on the package). If you have an allergy to these ingredients, please do not consume them. You may return products covered by this recall to MEC for refund.
