With a little more volume in its tires, our latest Skyway 2 rolls from A-to-B smoother than ever. Outfitted with a clever drivetrain and versatile geometry, the Skyway 2 makes your commute a lot more fun – and costs less than a yearly bus pass. Sitting at the top end of our entry-level urban bikes, this build gets a couple more gears, an upgraded drivetrain, and more powerful brakes. Shimano’s Cues drivetrain offers proven performance and easy maintenance. Hydraulic disc brakes put a ton of stopping power right at your fingertips and are a real step up from rim brakes – especially on rainy days. Built on a light and strong aluminum frame, the Skyway series has a comfortable, upright riding position that’s great for urban environments. Rack and fender mounts let you customize your ride and make it more useful. And the large-diameter wheels carry more momentum than standard 26in. mountain bike wheels, so you cruise right over bumps, rough pavement and unpaved side streets.

• Kenda Khan 700 x 45mm high-volume tires help smooth out rough surfaces and can handle dirt roads, paths and light trail use

• Upright seated position and 25mm riser bars give you good visibility in traffic

• Bikes are covered by MEC's Rocksolid Guarantee and Bike Service Agreement. You can bring your bike to any MEC bike shop for free adjustments and minor maintenance for a year after purchase
