Throwing up to 3,000 night-melting lumens, the Megawatt headlamp is like having a set of high beams on your head. There are two modes that are fully customizable with Black Diamond’s smooth dimming functionality. This means you can set Low mode to a reasonable 100 lumens for gearing up and leave High mode to a descending-worthy 3,000 lumens. There is even a red-lighting mode for those times you don’t want to disturb your hut mates. If you’re the type who likes to ride after dark, the included remote lets you control the headlamp from your handlebars. The clever rechargeable battery pack has an integrated display that lets you know how much power you have left at your current output, making it easier to determine if you have the juice for another lap. The battery even doubles as a powerbank, so you can top up your phone to record that epic send.
