We have recently been notified of a pending recall of the Optimus Gemini 2 Burner Stove due to the potential risk of a gas leak and subsequent fire. Optimus is asking that you immediately stop using your stove and return it to the retailer you purchased it from.
Optimus describes the issue as follows: “An internal part of the gas regulator component may have a burr that may wear or tear a hole in the seal causing gas to leak out of the back side of the stove, posing a fire hazard.” To date, they have received 15 reports of failures of the regulator mounted inside the stove from customers in Europe and China.
