Petzl has recalled certain production runs of their Nomic and Ergonomic Ice Axes for potential breakage of the handle section. Petzl is asking you to stop using your ice axe until you can inspect the axe and determine if it is affected by this recall.

Note: Axes outside of the serial number ranges identified in the link above are not affected by this recall.
