ReSurf is a Surfrider Foundation Canada program that aims to slow the growing volume of Canadian surfboard and wetsuit materials in our landfills. Through repair, up-cycling and recycling, they’re doing their part to make sure the surfing community isn’t contributing to excess waste and giving new life to used gear.
And now at MEC Vancouver and Nanaimo, ReSurf recycling boxes have been set up so you can drop off your old wetsuit and get $20 off a new suit from MEC! Any brand accepted. Surf wetsuits only (4/3 mm neoprene minimum), no accessories. Must be dry and clean.
The voucher applies when you purchase an MEC Label wetsuit in-store or online. The voucher is only valid for 2-weeks from your wetsuit drop-off date. You can claim one voucher per wetsuit recycled, and only use one voucher for the purchase of a new MEC Label wetsuit. This voucher cannot be redeemed for cash, applied to gift cards, Yard Sale items, prior purchases or combined with other offers such as price matching. The voucher must be issued at the time you drop off a wetsuit for recycling. This deal is available to MEC Members only (you can join for free with your new wetsuit purchase).
